Canada at War -- War Industry

The Canadian government took full control of the economy, and turned it into a war-winning weapon.

During the Second World War, Canadian industries manufactured war materials and other supplies for Canada, the United States, Britain, and other Allied countries. 

The article goes on the mention that Canada spent $10 billion in WW II production which is more like a $100 billion in today's dollars.

In reality, $10 billion in WW II was more like a trillion or more dollars in today's spending power...
