Justin Trudeau Just Another Inexperienced Socialist

Of course the left wing press would play up a socialist, anti-capitalist (high taxes, less competition, more government) speech by Pierre Trudeau’s 35-year-old (never worked a day in his life) son. Yes, they say he works as a teacher but how about being part of the $125 million Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation which was set up with your tax payer money by our former Liberal prime minister Jean Chrétien to further the cause of socialism.

Imagine inviting this guy to speak to a Leadership Windsor/Essex sponsored group of 700 impressionable teenagers in mid May 2007? Instead of railing against the competitive, capitalist system Trudeau could have told the youths that your parents’ jobs and your prosperity are a direct result of a system that always trumps any other Communist, Socialist or Dictatorship model.

They should have been reminded that the world is out to eat our lunch and that only education, motivation and a drive to succeed will allow those youth to compete with their skills on the world stage. Making the crowd feel guilty for only giving $10,000 per year to every Native Canadian and allowing them to pay no taxes, and being granted free university tuition and open season hunting etc., while saying that the meaningless phrase of “social justice” should rule the day is, may I say, misleading at best.

And to the 17 year old who stated that she couldn’t wait to vote for Justin, Trudeau should have explained that under our system she could only vote for him if she lived in his safe Québec riding. What nonsense.

Let’s hope these kids are lucky enough to find good paying government jobs when they grow up.
